You may remember (Hopefully, as I can't be bothered foraging for a link) some group creating a job role of 'Period Dignity Officer', then giving it to a man
They made an overnight laughing stock of themselves
The appointment of Jason Grant as period dignity regional lead officer in Tayside sparked worldwide controversy and fierce opposition from people who believed the job should have gone to a woman.
Personally I'm of the opinion that such a role need not exist, particularly if it's financed by the taxpayer. It smacks of bleeding heart liberals looking for a problem for their solution
Anyway, leaving my obvious far right mysogony aside, if such a role is to be created, it seems to make sense that it go to a woman
So by giving the role to a man, they got it wrong and found themselves the subject of hoots of derision
So what's the best way to solve this problem?
Period dignity officer role scrapped after furore when job went to a manA period dignity officer role has been scrapped by a group which claimed it faced “threats and abuse” after controversially handing the job to a man.
If I had to give the problem a moments thought, I would just suggest giving the role to a woman, like everyone wants
Instead, they've scrapped the role altogether
For me, that's obviously the best solution, but for your average lefty who can't figure out how to access period products, this reaction is a complete clusterfuck
We want to create a bollocks position for women, and give it to a man. If you don't want a man to have it, nobody can have it. The left are a laugh a minute
