Never explain, never apologise

I love it when people don't bow down to left wing idiots having a meltdown on Twitter
This Morning's 'tone-deaf' energy bills segment slammed with Ofcom complaints
Notice how the term 'Tone Deaf' has been appropriated by the woke and now means 'anything that I don't agree with'?
This Morning’s game Spin to Win, which was widely criticised for giving away cash for energy bills as a prize, could be investigated by Ofcom.
The segment aired on Monday’s instalment of the morning chat show, presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, and was branded as ‘tone-deaf’ by viewers for making light of the cost-of-living crisis.
I'm no fan of Philip Schofield after he started doing them annoying We Buy Any Car adverts. But in fairness, it wasn't as though they were pointing and laughing at people who can't afford their energy bills. They were having a light hearted competition, that actually gave someone the chance to win a sizeable sum of money
It's a little bit low brow entertainment for the masses, but that's no reason to get hot under the collar. Us masses need entertainment from time to time. We don't need jumped up woke idiots moaning about free money
Rather than scrap the contentious prize, Spin to Win was featured again in the following episode, with the prized upped to covering the cost of household bills.
After a caller claimed £3,000, Phillip, 60, joked about the backlash, saying: ‘I wonder how much of that they can complain about online.’
He's just gone up in my estimates. The adverts might be annoying, but he dealt with the woke idiots in the only way they should be dealt with; No apology, no explanation, double down on the thing that's causing the 'outrage'
Once again fans flocked to social media to share their outrage
Yawn. People are always flocking to social media to share outrage. It's tedious
with one angrily penning: ‘You could have just said sorry, we made a mistake, but no, double down instead. By completely avoiding mentioning it you just look like inconsiderate t**s.’
Penning? I doubt these people can use a pen
They only made a mistake in your woke opinion. Most people will not have seen a problem with this at all
the broadcasting regulator confirmed it had received 170 complaints for Monday’s episode of This Morning.
You see? 170 People who thoguht it worthy of complaint. There should be a Ofcom 'Like' button, where people can share their approval of TV shennanigans. If a show gets more likes than complaints, no investigation
