Ambulance driver who sued after someone said '10 a penny' loses case
Well at least he lost the case, so I'm good to go with my post title
A black ambulance driver has had his claim for racism rejected after he alleged that the phrase ‘ten a penny’ was related to slavery
Good Lord! Is there nothing these race grifters won't claim is related to slavery? And so what if it is? So many things are related to slavery, the world would grind to a halt if they were all cancelled
(Just for clarity, although you already know this, reader, slavery referred to in this context is only aboout black people being enslaved by Britain and America. It is not about Greek and Roman slavery, not about the slaves who built the pyramids and nothing to do with the slavery that has been involved in some degree, in every emerging economy the world over. Those slaveries are not racist. Only the black people ones are)
Matthew Johnson told his boss Dan Price that he would be going on a month-long honeymoon shortly after taking the job in 2018.Mr Price, who is white, was not pleased at hearing this and said words to the effect that he ‘would not have employed’ him if he had known this and used the expression ‘ten a penny’ to refer to drivers like him.
An interaction that could not be seen as racist, even by the most hardened race grifter, yet somehow this bollocks made it to a tribunal
The case was heard at an employment tribunal in Watford, London, where Mr Johnson also alleged other instances of racial discrimination.
Maybe there is more to this then?
He said he was drug tested twice after incidents involving patients when neither of his crewmates had been.
And maybe not
In addition, he said that he drove a Porsche and his boss said to him he ‘must be a drug dealer to be able to afford a car like that’.
Banter. My boss has said much worse about my cars. Usually about them being clapped out and lowering the tone of the carpark though
But because most drug dealers are black, this banter is racist. Which in it's own way, is racist too, if you think about it
Regarding the Porsche remark, the tribunal heard it was made after Mr Price and another senior figure told Mr Johnson that he couldn’t park his car across two parking spaces in the company car park.
I'm getting 'Arsehole'. Am I right?
On a visit to a patient’s home, an incident with a wheelchair resulted in a colleague being concussed and Mr Johnson was disciplined, the tribunal was told.In January 2020 Mr Johnson issued a grievance about his treatment complaining that he had been discriminated against in relation to these two incidents by being drug tested by the company twice when neither of his crew-mates had been – when he said they had been the ones ‘responsible’.
Sounds like a model employee. When people with his skills are 'ten-a-penny', I wounder how easy he will find getting a new job when potential employers are reading about his actions in the papers
Incompetent, entitled, blames others and cries racism at the drop of a hat
In dismissing the case, Mr Johnson was ordered by the tribunal to pay £1200 towards DHL’s costs.
Good. It's about time these grifters got some consequences, although he should have been made to pay the full costs, plus some kind of fine
And it should never have been before a tribunal in the first place
