Bad parenting

It's no secret that I hate flying. It's also no secret that I hate children. Therefore, it's probably no secret that I hate children on planes
Six-year-old boy ‘in tears’ after another passenger sits in his pre-booked window seat on flight
I also hate bad parents who treat their idiot spawn like Gods gift and think they should be entitled to anything
The simple solution to this should be, you're in my seat mate, but it goes a bit deeper than that
A six-year-old boy was left in tears after an “IT glitch” meant someone else was already sitting in his pre-booked window seat on a recent flight.
Firstly, it's a sign of the times that this is actually considered news (and behind a paywall too), but the reaction of the child and parent is equally a sign of the times
Ryan Bandli’s mother Adi had taken care to book her “very reactive” son, who struggles with flying, a window seat, which she said helps keep him calm.
A badly brought up, naughty child, give the label of 'very reactive', to make out he's got some kind of mental health issue that is no fault of the parents. Yes, I get that some children do have issues, but 99 times out of 100, when these stories go to the papers, it''s simply bad parenting, plus compo face
She asked if the woman would consider moving for her son, but she refused.
I've always been quite scared of flying myself, so I always book a window seat and often an extra legroom one. In this instance, where the seat has been double booked due to an airline cock up, it's probabably just a case of first come, first served. I would also have refused to move

I booked this seat

Yeah, me too

My kid likes to sit by the window as it calms him down

Yeah, me too
“Ryan was really upset and anxious and he cried,” she says. “He didn’t understand how this could happen.
Maybe you need to explain to him the term, shit happens. Maybe you could explain how budget airlines work, how IT systems work, how sometimes things go wrong and we can't always have exactly what we want. How life is not fair and we have to live with it
“How can something like this happen?” she said.
Oh well, if you don't know yourself, how does the kid stand a chance?
He probably would have just got on with it and not spent the flight crying, if you hadn't had a hissy fit and got him all riled up. You're supposed to be the adult

She didn't even get any compo
