And so it begins - Again.

Beauty at the Beach owner caught in national newspaper sting

A tanning studio owner who was caught out in a newspaper sting to find operators who were breaking a new law on sunbeds has held his hands up to his mistake.

And Donato Sciaraffa, owner of Beauty at the Beach in Oxford Road, has said his error in letting a 15-year-old girl use a sunbed on the day the Government banned under-18s using them will make sure he is much more careful in future.

Once again, New Labour the ConDems figure the best way to deal with a small potential for harm is to get the banning stick out.

This must be in the top ten of unnecessary banning bollocks. It's illegal to drink alcohol under eighteen but it's also quite easy to come home drunk and hide it from your parents, we all did it.

How can you come home and hide the fact that you have a near Tango tan? This is definitely the responsibility of the parents to take action if they don't want their child to use a sunbed (If they don't mind then fine).

But no. As is the norm in Nanny Britain we ban the use of sunbeds for under eighteens, fine tanning salon owners who break the 'law' and the sheep, led by the MSM, all bleat for 'action' and 'good of the children'.

A national newspaper sent the teenager to the salon on Friday, April 8, where Mr Sciaraffa is reported not to have asked her age before letting her use the sunbed.

What the fuck have we become? Not only do the police send children into shops and pubs to buy alcohol in order to catch out staff and issue fines, fucking newspapers send children into a tanning salon on the very day the new law comes out in order to sell newspapers. They deserve to have their newspaper writing licence taken off them. Papers should report the news, not attempt to make it.

Mr Sciaraffa, 46, told the Reading Post: “My guard was down.
“In a way it has done me a favour because it makes sure it won’t happen again."

Hear the bleat? What he should have said was, "This law is utter bollocks and newspapers have no business trying to catch me out anyway. It's not my business to police stupid nanny laws and as far as I'm concerned, everybody can F...."

The Sun published its story last week and revealed the girl was refused entry at three other salons, not in Reading, before she was allowed into Beauty at the Beach.
“People don’t like to be asked their age but in future I will just have to say to myself that it doesn’t matter – I don’t want to pay a fine.”

Typical. Mrs Bucko, who is 30, still gets asked for ID in the co-op. Are we going to have a challenge 25 scheme in salons now?

Never mind the law, it's bloody frustrating to get asked for ID with a queue behind you by a till drone with no common sense. Is this what we can now expect when going to use a sunbed?

The Governemt introduced the ban after Cancer Research UK revealed that rates of skin cancer have trebled in people aged 15 to 34 since the 1970s and using a sunbed for the first time before the age of 35 can increase the risk of malignant melanoma – the most deadly form of skin cancer – by 35 per cent.

Because Cancer Research UK dictates policy now. They also give money to ASH.

Mr Sciaraffa added: “I’ve been waiting for this law – I’m a big fan of it and hopefully it will mean an end to the unmanned shops and they will have to shut down.”
Bleat, bleat. Not only is he crawling up the arses of TPTB to prove he is actually a good little drone, he also sees opportunity for the loss of some competition.

And get a load of the comments. The sheep have come out in force to bleat about this one:

Ahh so similar thinking would be find out why people want to be rapists and deal with that rather than catch and punish them?
Or are we selective about which laws we should be allowed to have broken?

About time the law was applied to the full. No excuses.

Reading Runner should we let shops sell booze and fags to under age children then? Let children get tanning done all because those poor business owners need some money and it's not their fault it is the parents fault?
The simple fact is these shop workers/owners break the law because they are more interested in making a few quid than abide by the laws of this country and as such they deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law.

So he's more interested in getting caught again, than stopping a young teen from getting side effects from his tanning machines.Typical.Notice he don't use them much himself. Self preservation and greed should go on his tomb stone me thinks.

There are plenty more where those came from.

I'd like to meet that Spanky and give him a right good shoeing. Righteous arsehole.
