I've always regarded the political spectrum as more like a circle than a line with left and right at opposite ends. To me far left and far right have more similarities than differences. So the far left is eleven o clock, the far right is one o clock, and I am six o clock.
Hmm ... something called the "Socialist Workers Party" sounds pretty Stalinist in any language. Add "National German" to that and guess what: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Stalinism and the so-called "Far Right" really are separated by a hair, which goes to show the usual notion of the left-right spectrum is all wrong. I tend to think of both of those as being on the authoritarian Left, with both small-government views and old-fashioned royalism on the real right.
People sometimes postulate a "small government" position on the left as well, but it does not really work. If you take away the incentives inherent in a market economy, something like 30% of people will game the system if they can get away with it ("I have no abilities, but lots of needs") - and before you know it, everyone else has to follow. You need a powerful state to implement socialism, whether national or international.
