I thought people had been doing this since the dawn of television, but it seems I'm wrong. 

A lot of them do look like robots or clones these days, but I thought Moira Stewart, Peter Sissons, Trevor McDoughnut and the like, were real people

The page does go on to explain that she's the first newsreader with a huge face tat, not the first newsreader of all time

I watch very little news and even less of the antipodean variety, which is good for me, as I think she look frigging hideous. Reminds me of The Walking Dead
