Blogging off for a while

I'm knackered and I'm taking a break.

No doubt my loyal reader has noticed a distinct lack of posts lately. Things have been nuts around Moose meadows and I've just not had the time.

It's all good though. We've finally got the kitchen finished.

The new job has been hectic but I'm finally settling in to it now. Things are getting a little more under control so I've finally booked a much needed holiday for me and Mrs Bucko.

We are going away on June 9th and returning on June 14th, at which point I will start blogging again with renewed vigour and grrrr!

So until then, be excellent to each other!

Pardon? Where are we going? Ok, if you're interested I'll tell you.

If you had two choices of a trip of a lifetime, where would it be? My first choice would be Texas hillbilly country. My second would be the beaches of Normandy, and that's where we're going. (Texas will have to wait a few more years)

After an eight hour drive to Portsmouth and a ferry to Ouistreham, we will be staying at a hotel in Lion-Sur-Mer, or Sword Beach if you want it in D-Day parlance. From there it will just be a case of taking in as much as we can see.

I'll show you all the holiday slides when we get back. What do you mean you'll be busy?
