So Fiskable

Is this article from the Inpependent
‘Cruel’ Migration Bill will ‘traumatise, not deter’ asylum seekers, refugees say
When there is so much bullshit in one article, the fisking becomes easy, mundane even. Let's start with the headline. Of course refugees say that. But I bet they didn't say it until they were approached by some care 4 Calais nonce, or human rights lawyer grifter
Farzad, who did not wish to share his second name, arrived in the UK by boat in 2019 after fleeing Iran due to persecution he faced for religious reasons and said he does not think the Bill will act as a deterrent.

A person fleeing persecution does not pass through all those friendly countries and come to the UK. A person who wants life to be given to them on a plate makes that journey to England, the land of milk and honey for those who arrive illegally
“(Detaining asylum seekers) will traumatise them more and make them more vulnerable,” Farzad said in a statement shared via the Refugee Council.
Using the word, 'vulnerable', is a massive red flag. An Iranian with English as a second language would not do it, but someone working for the refugee council who was coaching them on what to say, would
“When people are running, they are more concerned with what they are running from, not what they are running to.
Then why cross half the western world to reach England, when there are plenty of friendly countries much closer?
“I decided to go to the UK, because I speak English…
So do a great number of people

You would have been fine in pretty much any of the countries you passed by, with a good knowledge of the English language
they put me in a lorry, and then in a van,” he said.

“After this long journey, they forced me and a few other people into a boat – this was not what they had promised me to do, I was not supposed to come by boat… it was dark, it was foggy, it was cold.”
Cry me a river. You chose the illegal route of entry. And I assume, illegally entered a number of other countries en route. You're lucky dark and foggy was all it was
Genuine assylum seekers choose the legal route and present themselves at a port or airport with their documents
Mohammad Asif fled his home country Afghanistan in 2000 and said the Government’s Bill will not “stop the boats, but drive asylum seekers underground”.
It's a lot more difficult for 40k people per year to be underground than living in hotels at taxpayers expense, so if that's the best that happens, I'll take it
The 55-year-old is the director of the Afghan Human Rights Foundation in Glasgow and said he has spoken to “scared” asylum seekers
Why is there an Afgan human rights foundation in Glasgow? Why is it not in Afganistan?
“I speak to (people who have come by boat) every single day because I work with lawyers, immigration lawyers, I work with tribunals… people are so scared,” he told the PA news agency.
Grifters. You work with grifters
Mr Asif said asylum seekers and refugees have become a “target” for the Government to blame crises on, and the Government has already failed those who have come to the UK.

“If you failed in your policies, fail on the cost-of-living crisis, energy crisis, petrol crisis, mortgage crisis, economy crisis… the easy target for you is to blame asylum seekers for all the problems in Britain,” he said.
You're reading the room wrong. Yes, the Government have failed at all those policies, but they have also failed in the refugee crisis, by not deporting them all as soon as they hit dry land.

And the Government are not blaming asylum seekers (illegal immigrants) for the problems in England, the Government have demonstrated time and time again, that they would be more than happy for all the waifs and strays of the world to come here and live off our benefits

It's the British people who are blaming the illegal immigrants for a whole host of problems. We can see crime, particularly violent crime and sexual crime, rising fast, we can see hotels filling up while our own are waiting years for assisted accommodation, we see preferential treatment from hospitals, doctors and dentists, while the NHS we use is falling apart and we see millions of pounds of our money been thrown at this situation while we struggly to pay for daily life

And we see our culture and history fading fast

The Government are not blaming the illegals, we are
No asylum seeker when he or she arrived asked for hotel accommodation
There was a picture doing the rounds on Twitter of asylum seekers protesting outside a hotel. They had a big banner saying, 'Houses not hotels'. I've just spent half an hour trawling the internet looking for the picture, but all I get, regardless of the search I type in, is rafts of 'Refugees welcome' stuff

Anyway, we've all seen examples of how entiled these illegals can be, so it's obvious that at least some are asking for more than just a hotel room

It doesn't matter what they ask for though, it matters what they know they will get when they arrive, asked or not. We are the only country that will put them up in hotels and give them food and money, so knowing that, is why they travel across half the world to get here
“The worst thing is that no normal person would risk their lives to come through the English Channel… it is a choice between death and life.”
Nope, it's a choice between England and France. The choice being, France won't put up with your shit, while England will wipe your arse
Mr Biti is now the chief executive officer for Communities and Sanctuary Seekers Together (Cast) – a refugee community organisation which he said “aims to end destitution within the UK draconian immigration system”.
So illegal immigrants are coming here, then banding together to encourage more to come. I wonder if 'CAST' gets taxpayer funding?
He said the Government needs to work with refugees and organisations like Cast to tackle the issue of asylum seekers crossing the Channel by boat and help them to find safer routes.
Passenger planes
Passenger ships
Bring your passport
“Let’s sit down at the round table. We give in our ideas, you come in with your ideas and resolve the problem together.
Here's my idea. Detain on arrival. When enough detained to fill a plane, fly them to Africa. I'm happy to work with you on this
“We can, together – as asylum seekers, the refugees who have settled here, the refugee community organisations, charities working with refugees, and the Government – stop people getting into the boats.”
We don't just want to stop them getting into the boats. We want to stop them coming
