So what are France getting right?

It must be something
‘We can’t stay here’: Migrants in France undeterred from Channel crossing despite deadly tragedy
Why can they not stay in France? France is a nice country. The language is bloody ridiculous, but the people are nice and the country is nice. There's no war, there's no famine, so why can't they stay?
“I’ve known for the whole four months I’ve been here that I can’t stay in Calais. The conditions are too awful,” the father, who wished to remain anonymous, said.

“My wife is pregnant and we have a child. We are sleeping outside in the mud. I’ll keep trying to make the crossing despite the risks.”

At the same time, police are continuing to evict camps, taking tents and sleeping bags away despite temperatures hovering around freezing point.
It's because the French ain't putting up with their shit. The French attitude is the right one. The migrants didn't have to go there, so why should the French take care of them
The migrants want to make the crossing to England, becuase currently they are living in freezing camps, with littles access to amenities, that might be buldozed by the police at any time, but when they come to England, they will be put up in a nice warm hotel, with all their needs catered for, and they'll never have to work another day in their lives

Of course they're going to come here

And what do our Government do about it? Absolutely fuck all, which is why fourty five thousand of the buggers have arrived this year alone, to leach off the taxpayer
The only thing the 'Conservatives' will do, is talk about maybe moving them from hotels to Pontins
Clare Mosely, who runs the Care4Calais charity, said migrants have been falling ill with diseases like scabies in recent weeks, as they struggle with a lack of sanitation in the winter weather.
“It’s not because they’ve chosen to risk their lives,” she said, talking about people making the crossing. “The whole point is that there isn’t a choice.”
Of course there's a choice. There's always a choice. These people have made some very bad ones. Namely, to leave their already safe countries, cross a number of other safe countries, and try to get to the land of milk and honey

Of course there are genuine refugees fleeing actual persection and stuff, but you can tell these by where they choose to flee to. First safe country is supposed to be the rule, and you'd do that if you were in genuine danger. The only reason to cross half the world to England, is the desire to never work another day in your life, at the expense of the local taxpayer

And of course, some genuine refugees may have good reason to seek assylum in England. Getting on a small rubber boat and throwing your passport in the sea, is not seeking asylum
"as a lack of safe and legal routes [...] continue to push them to make the dangerous journey."
"Suella Braverman, the home secretary, refused calls to set up safe and legal routes for asylum seekers after the latest tragedy"
"But she does not think the bitterly cold weather is making migrants more likely to make the crossing - which they would do anyway, given the lack of other routes"
There ARE safe and legal routes. I'm getting tired of hearing this claptrap about no safe and legal routes. Turn up at any port or airport, with your documents and say, "I would like to seek asylum please"

It's safe and it's legal. It's also cheaper to get on a plane from France than is is to pay the small boat guys. The reason these people chose the more expensive boat option and dispose of their documents, is probably becuase they know they are frauds and thier legal asylum claim would be handed the rejection it deserves

This woman has a lot to answer for. At the very least, she's aiding criminals. I wonder what her salary is from this 'charity'

Is it all about the money, or does she do this simply because she's a blithering idiot?
