I've been saying for most of my life that racism is largely a thing of the past in the western world and it's certainly nothing we need to be worrying about
Unfortunately, these past few years have brought racism to the forefront of daily life and not in a good way
Since racism pretty much disappeared, those who used it as a good grift have done everything they could to pretend it's still a huge issue, that all black people are oppressed and all whites the oppressors. The biggest grift of all came with the rise of Black Lives Matter
Race relations have been set back decades by the grifters and it will take a very long time to repair the damage
Or that's what I thought. It turns out I'm actually completely wrong and we're still living in the days of Rosa Parks and black people being made to move for their white oppressors
Black passenger says Delta moved her to back of flight to make room for white women
How terrible, I'll donate to BLM immediately
Of course dear reader, you don't need me to point out that this did not happen at all. This woman has a pretty bog standard grievance and also happens to be black, so she uses that to cry racism. This is what the grifters wanted; implied racism where real racism does not exist
Camille Henderson was travelling from Atlanta to San Francisco on 3 February when she alleges a flight attendant told her to move from her assigned seat.
Many people have been moved on planes before, for many different reasons. I've been moved twice; once on a virtually empty flight where their weight distribution was apparently off and once when I had booked a seat but the plane had been changed for a smaller one. Got my money back for the booked seat on that one
I don’t want to make it a race thing...
This is where she goes all out on making it a race thing
...but instead of asking the two white women that were seated next to me [to move], in an attempt to accommodate them, they basically made me have to move,”
Yep, not a race thing. Maybe they moved her because it's better to move one person than two? Maybe should could have just said no, if it was a problem?
I just don’t know why I had to move because that was the seat that I paid for, that was my assigned seat,” she added
You had to move for the reasons the flight attendant undoubtedly explained to you at the time. If you'd paid for the seat, get a refund or politely explain that you paid for this seat and don't want to move. Suggest they go ahead and move the other women
“As I’m walking back there it’s just humiliating. It’s like having the entire flight look at you and asking what’s going on.”
Nope, that's just in your imagination, because as a weak willed person, you've accepted the narrative that black people are poor victims that need special treatment
Ms Henderson was sitting in the window seat on row 15 and says the two women occupied the middle and aisle seats of the same row.She claims the women were complaining that they were meant to be sitting in first class but could not provide tickets for this. According to crew, all the first-class seats were occupied. The women complained for over an hour, Ms Henderson alleges, at which point a crew member asked if she was travelling alone. When she affirmed that she was, Ms Henderson claims she was asked to move back to an aisle seat further back in row 34 to give the white women more room
Because that's what the flight attendant actually said: "Give the white women more room". Not
I wasn't there, but it sounds to me like the flight attendant was dealing with a couple of entitled complainers and decided on a way to make the problem go away. If so, our poor oppressed black woman could simply have said that she did not wish to move and passed the problem back to the staff. instead, she's in the papers
“Me, as a black woman, I was displaced to make two white women comfortable. That doesn’t make any sense to me,” she said.
It could only possibly make sense to you once you realise that that isn't what actually happened. But you would prefer to play the victim and cry about racism that wasn't there
She said the incident would make her think twice about flying with Delta in future.
If I was Delta, I'd think twice about letting her on one of my planes, in future
