The Food Standards Agency (FSA) have put together a guide, offering tips on how to safely prepare turkey at home.
The 'lets talk turkey guide' offers tips around chilling, cleaning, cooking and avoiding cross-contamination when preparing turkey.
This is why I object to paying tax. A Government agency using our tax money, has prepared an idiots guide to cooking a turkey. If we didn't already know how to do that, all the necessary information is all over the internet. No internet access (really?)? There must have been a million cookery books released on the subject
But no. People with money that isn't their own, have to find new ways to keep spending it
Cllr Paul Cox, Cabinet Member for Food Safety said: “For many of us, it wouldn’t be Christmas without turkey.
"However, cooking for a crowd can be a lot of pressure, from having to think about various defrosting and cooking times, to ensuring that all the food is stored safely
Which is pretty much it. And. There's a Cabinet Minister for Food Safety? We really do have too many MPs
“This is why Hyndburn Council are supporting the Food Standards agency in helping you to cook your festive bird with confidence this Christmas
How would we possibly survive without Government?
