Friday Night Moose Music - The Return

Well I suppose that if I'm going to restart the blog, I may as well stick to the old traditions. It's Friday night, so time for a bit of music then.
As those that believe themselves in control of us have decided to ban petrol and diesel cars, here's some driving tunes for those of us who will never give up our big engines.

Enjoy

Soon be Monday!

I love Golden Earring! I came across this playlist the other day when I was searching for the song "It's Grim Up North" (and no, I cannot remember why I was searching for that):

Perhaps it will inspire you- to what, I do not know.

Hi Emily. Thanks, but I don't know why everyone thinks it's grim up north (apart from maybe the weather). The North of England is actually quite delightful in my opinion. I would hate to have to live in London :-)

DCBAin - That's brilliant. They played at our local music festival in 2013. Great stuff!

Well, I quite like grim things but that being said, I'm sure the North is very lovely :) I do hope to visit someday, if only to go on a musical pilgrimage of the millions of bands from the region that I have loved over the years.

Maybe the North is a bit like Boston, in my mind, at least "dirty old Boston" (which was a million times better than the new progressive yuppified Boston) - celebrating grimness is a deeply entrenched New England trait.

If you're on a music pilgrimage, our town is very musical. We have loads of bands and an annual music festival. Thet're not famous bands like what you're talking about, but there's a lot of talent round here
