Friday night Moose music - The uncoverables

New music these days is generally crap in my opinion. There is also a heavy reliance on covering other peoples music, particularly among boy bands.

Cover versions have always been around but now a newbie band can easily make a career out of ripping off other peoples stuff. I've lost count of the times I've heard some young scrot sack say, "They've knicked that off Westlife!" when the oldies are on the radio.

If you are going to cover a record you need to do it as well or better than the original artist for it to be worth it's salt. Some groups have pulled off some very good cover versions in their own particular style. Others make a right bloody mess.

I'm also of the opinion that there are some records that should never be covered. No matter how good a version someone else does of them, they will always be ruining the origianl.

The following are some of those records. Enjoy.

With thank to Mrs Bucko for helping me pick em
