A CAMPAIGN has been launched against plans to install a mobile phone mast just yards from a pre-school.Just yards? Oh the humanity! Won't someone think of the chiiiildren!
Of course there are those who believe phone masts can be harmful to health and cause cancer and stuff that kills you dead.
And there are others who believe this is complete bunkum because there has never been any evidence to back up such claims.
And then there is the third group. They know there is no evidence:
Justine Gavahan, who runs it, said: "There isn’t any proof that mobile phone masts are dangerous, ...but they still believe in the death rays:
...but there isn’t anything that disproves that either.”How's that for logic? Presumably, if I told this woman that tomatoes are deadly because everyone who ate them 200 years ago is dead, she would have to give up eating tomatoes because it would be impossible to disprove my theory?
Or if I told her that second hand smoke.., oh wait, that's been done.
Highlighting concerns over the health risks related to mobile phone masts, they said their priority was to protect their children.Well that's ok then. In the religion of thinking of the kiddies, any old nonsense is gospel.
