Otherwise me may not get to see videos of old men fending off armed robbers with nothing more than a mop.

If that old fellah had been armed with a handgun there would have been very little to see here. Fortunately, as long as we ensure frightened old men are unable to adequately defend themselves and their property, we will continue to get these little titbits for our entertainment.
