Friday night Moose music - Banned!

Tonight's selection comprises music that has been banned at one time or another.

Can't Stand Loosing You was banned by the BBC because of it's morbid content; the story of a teenager who commits suicide.

Banned by the bible bashing south because of it's suggestive content.

MTV banned this one because of it's 'partial nudity' but later agreed to show it at night time.

Banned by many radio stations because of it's overtly sexual content. Some just bleeped out the word 'Night'.

A song about knocking one out, bashing the bishop, spanking the monkey etc.
Mum, are you listening?

Banned by the over zealous BBC censor in 1937 because the word 'rock' rhymes with something it shouldn't. Probably what The Who were bashing above.

And this is probably the most famous banned record of all.

Have a good Friday.
