I have just received this one line reply from Christin Rayner, Editor of This Is Kent, the newspaper who ran the original Ciggy Busters story:
"Mr Bucko: Many thanks for your contribution. I shall pass it to a reporter to do a follow-up."

Madam,
As leader of The Stan Party I am compelled to express my outrage in the strongest terms regarding the assaults on smokers by a group of thugs calling themselves CiggyBusters.
How do you condone giving your approval to the harassment and intimidation of smokers by groups of youths?,will you admit to your part in this bullying when a smoker is injured,or when one of the children being manipulated into carrying out these attacks on law abiding citizens is injured?.

The Stan Party eh? Can we count on you to repeal the smoking ban if you get to no.10?
I am Stan - It has come to this because smokers are no longer considered vilid citizens. We have been so de normalised that people can pull a stunt like this and get away with it.
From some of the discussions I have been involved in, I get the impression that this may be the final straw, though.
