I now use a self hosted password manager but before that with stupid policies like this I simply added a number on the end of my password and stored that but it is a pain. A couple of times I forgot where I was in the sequence. There was one site that wouldn't allow so many things that every month I used the lost password link as my way in. Changed it and promptly forgot it. Was pleased when I no longer had to use that site.
Script kiddies and stupid requirements give a false sense of security but they simply don't care. Banks are getting worse, government has always been bad.
