Crazytown

We don't use that word to describe nutjobs anymore. We say 'Trans People'
Transgender people in England are much more likely to have a long-term mental health condition, the first study of its kind shows, with some facing a risk five times higher than cisgender people.
Ok. So I have a question
Are trans people more likely to develope a mental illness becuase they are trans?
Or are people trans because they have a mental illness?

I reckon the people that think you can change gender as you please and men can get pregnant and have periods, started life on the crazy train
The Guardian believes they boarded at a later junction, because causation / correlation, or something

Oh, and there is no such thing as Cisgender. Sod off with that already

I bet nobody is surprised about the mental health issue, especially as most of us knew already. Some may pretend but they are part of the problem. The usual suspects of course.

It's weird that we've started affirming these mental heath issues, rather than treating them

The narrative that is being pushed is that trans people develop and struggle with mental illness because they are discriminated against. But it seems obvious to me that the opposite is true - people with mental illness are more likely to decide to identify as trans, especially as it becomes more socially acceptable - and even desirable in many social and professional situations.

Indeed Emily. I've never managed to figure out though, what rights trans people don't have, that the rest of us do. Of course they don't seem to want to tell us.

In the trans chicken and mental health egg scenario, it seems obvious the mental health issues come first. Although some who identify as trans, clearly only do it because they are ugly and have no friends

And some do it for access to children.

Yes Julia, that's the scary bit. But what's more scary is the parents who want to give them access to their children.
