I'm not even sure what 'Upholding Whiteness' actually is, but for this Bee in the Bonnet black director, it means her rubbish film was not nominated for an Oscar, becuase everyone else is racist and hate black directors

So it's a film about racism. Maybe people are just a little tired of films about racism? Maybe people want a little more imagination from directors? I don't know, and I've not seen the film (and don't intend to), so can't comment on how crappy it actually is, but to my knowledge, there are plenty of good films that never get nominated for Oscars, so the idea that nominations are racist, just because the director is black...
In an Instagram post, the 37-year-old said: "We live in a world and work in industries that are so aggressively committed to upholding whiteness and perpetuating an unabashed misogyny towards Black women.
A little evidence of that sweeping statement, wouldn't go amiss. Of course none is offered, we are just supposed to believe she is correct and it's nowt to do with the film being pants and her being a talentless wannabee?

Is she talking about flicking the bean?
