All's well, but it didn't end well

So after a great little week away, we're now sat in Corfu airport waiting for our flight which has been delayed by two hours (so far)

The weather has been great all week, but last night the heavens opened and we got a really good Corfu thunderstorm. We normally love the storms in Corfu, but this one is still going on and the flight we were supposed to be on was diverted on it's way in, to Athens

This is the first time we've ever been delayed leaving Corfu for more than an hour and I could have done without it. My car broke down the week before we came out and I had to get a part for it from Ebay, which didn't arrive until after we had left

Hopefully I will still have time to fit it when we get back. It should be an easy enough fix, but it won't help that it will likely be cold, dark and raining while I'm doing it

Oh well, shit happens. While I'm here, I may as well tell you about the spaghetti in the sink

I cooked in the apartment a couple of nights, as there wasn't much food wise open at this time of year. I made a spaghetti bolognaise, but couldn't find a strainer / colander to rinse the spag, so I put a plate over the top of the pan to hold the spag in place, and tilted it over the washing up bowl

The plate moved and all the spaghetti fell in the dishwater. I yelled 'bollocks' quite loudly

Mrs Bucko came through, looked in the cupboard I had checked twice, found a colander and asked me why I hadn't used it

I kept the bol on a low heat while I made a second batch of spag and I used the correct tools to drain this lot, but some of the boiling water went on my finger, which prompted a yell of 'Shit Bollocks!', as I watched the second lot of spaghetti fall in the dishwater

Mrs B came in and said please don't tell me you've done it again

As it was all still in the colander, I fished it out, washed it with boiling water from the kettle and we finally had tea. Which was nice

The weather still looks pants and we've still got an hour and a half to wait, if we're not delayed any further, so I'm going to go smoke an e-cig in the toilets for a while
