Sitting at home saying "I'm too good to pack boxes" gets no body anywhere.

I did my bit on a packing line when I took a temporary job with White Arrow in the nineties. Now I have a career.

And what do you mean by they expect us to pay them? Is minimum wage too little for an unskilled teenager looking for work? If so then tough. I would expect these kids crying about there being no work would be happy to get a foot on the ladder. We're there to run a business, not to give people who want life handed to them on a plate, a wage equal to their "I want it now" lifestyle expectations.

You don't leave school and start work in the boardroom, you start at the bottom. Sorry but that's life.

Youth unemployment is high? The work is out there, they just have to want to take it.Buckohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03169970711606515445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-232613925790974435.post-78144283527664621362011-12-14T18:30:10.717+00:002011-12-14T18:30:10.717+00:00They probably expect you to pay them... /and anywa...They probably expect you to pay them... /and anyway, it takes longer than a fortnight's box packing to build a career.
