We are going to pay a visit tomorrow.
As you say, we have seen no publicity for any British or Canadian war graves in the area.

"there are no enemies after death."
According to what I've read the medics were happy to look after the injured of both sides (Including Fermans). Well worth half a day.

To me, the most moving thing about Normandy is the number of small and unsignposted cemeteries for British soldiers dotted all over the place. You need to look for them, though, unlike the massively publicised American cemetery which is like a small town (and refers to the 1916-18 and 1942-45 Wars!). The Brit places are usually only 20 or so graves and they are all immaculately looked after. The French haven't forgotten. Bear that in mind, old bean.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15743685798068014455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-232613925790974435.post-14398132078191721162012-06-11T19:13:20.210+01:002012-06-11T19:13:20.210+01:00The bridge in the museum is the original bridge, i...The bridge in the museum is the original bridge, it was moved there when they put in a new bridge.
